Im sure more than one person has said it, but being able to put the phone on the table and look down into the forward facing camera on the newer iphones really solves most of the problems.

Cant take your own picture, needs 2 people. I was .15 and .09 testing it out completely sober.

App doesnt work at all. It seems to provide random numbers for drinkers and sober people. The app is nothing more than a gimmick.

Cant even use it on yourself since it doesnt use backward facing camera.

U got to look out to the side to make it accurate.

The basic coordination test apps will give you a better idea.

This app is quite accurate if you are willing to do it properly and keep both your hands an the subject still. The negative reviews have either been written by folks too lazy to read the instructions or by others with a competing app. I have tried this side by side with the professional breathalyzer we carry on the ambulance and they get nearly identical results.

This app is worthless! It said that I was at .14 after 2 beers and even less after many more drinks. There is a major flaw here, just spend your extra dollar on a cab

Really is just for entertainment only. You cant use it on yourself and the reading came out different every time.

And no, it was not used to wipe up a spilled beer before I tested it. Distinct and sustained nystagmus at maximum deviation without testing lack of smooth pursuit or holding the stimulus for a minimum of 4 seconds will not yield worthwhile results. Go watch HGN videos on you tube and test your friends that way. Dont drive after two normal beers.

While the disclaimer says "For entertainment purposes only" I have gotten some accurate results from using this app. Its also a good conversation starter about the importance of not driving under the influence of alcohol. Give it a try!

When used correctly this app can give a good idea of your level of intoxication. Its not always accurate but it can definitely help start the conversation and keep your friends from driving and driving. Use wisely

Good call, really helpful when it comes to getting people who have been drinking not to drive. Can be inconsistent but you can definitely see the eye shake when your friends are drunk.

LOVE this app - its likely saved me thousands of dollars in expensive legal fees. I live in a town where the cops dont mess around when it comes to DUIs...Ive had several friends get popped with one after only a couple beers. Anytime Im about to leave the bar but am not 100% sure of my condition, I whip out this handy app to help me decide if i should drive or cab it. Highly recommended!

If you take one second to find something to lean on to keep your hand from shaking, it yields great results. Always results in a laugh either way! Fun at parties and has helped me keep at least one driver off the road.

Wish I had heard of this a while ago, definitely can be a good guide for you and your friends after youve had a few. Great for parties too, just make sure to follow the instructions or it wont work right...kind of hard to use if youre drunk haha
